Attorney General Jeff Landry Arrests Two Northwest Louisiana Men on Child Pornography Charges

BATON ROUGE, LA – Today, Attorney General Jeff Landry announced the arrests of two Northwest Louisiana men on child pornography charges.

“Child exploitation is a real problem that affects too many of our State's most innocent,” said Attorney General Jeff Landry. “My office is committed to investigating and arresting those who prey on our children.”

James Lucius, 54 of Bossier City, was arrested on 500 counts of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles (under the age of 13). Lucius was arrested and booked into the Bossier Parish Jail as a result of a joint investigation between Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit, Bossier City Marshal’s Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Bossier Police Department, Bossier Narcotics Task Force, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Shreveport Police Department, United States Marshal’s Office Task Force, Louisiana State Police, and Homeland Security Investigations.

Stephen Harris, 24 of Shreveport, was arrested on one count of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles. Harris was arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail as a result of a joint investigation between Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit, Bossier City Marshal’s Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Bossier Police Department, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and Homeland Security Investigations.
