BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry today announced the arrests of three Louisiana women on Medicaid Fraud charges.

“Our award-winning Medicaid Fraud Control Unit remains committed to investigating and arresting those who defraud Louisiana’s precious resources,” said General Landry. “With so many of our State’s vulnerable being added to the Medicaid system, it is critical we ramp up our fight to stop fraud and abuse.”

Kaitlyn Hamilton, 30 of Baton Rouge, was arrested on Medicaid fraud charges for allegedly submitting falsified service documents.

Jennifer Franklin, 49 of Baton Rouge, was arrested on Medicaid fraud charges for allegedly submitting time sheets and service logs for a patient she did not render services. 

Kerri Morrison, 49 of Denham Springs, was arrested on Medicaid fraud charges for allegedly submitting falsified service documents. 

All three were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Medicaid fraud occurs when providers use the Medicaid program to obtain money to which they are not entitled.
