NEW ORLEANS, LA – Attorney
General Jeff Landry has arrested two Jefferson Parish men on over 100 counts of
Child Pornography.
“As a father, I know how important it is to protect our
children; and as Attorney General, I will continue to do all I can to help
parents fight back against predators,” said General Landry. “My office and I
will bring those who exploit our children to justice.”
Rex Gibson, 53 of
Metairie, was booked on 81 counts of
Possession of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children (under the age of
13). Gibson was arrested and booked into the Jefferson Correctional Center
following a joint investigation between General Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit,
Homeland Security Investigations, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, and
the Louisiana State Police.
Gaige Moll, 17 of
Lafitte, was booked on 40 counts of
Possession of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children (under the age of
13) and 15 counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children.
Moll was arrested and booked into the Jefferson Correctional Center following a
joint investigation between General Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland
Security Investigations, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the
Louisiana State Police.
General Landry’s Cyber Crime Unit has investigated
thousands of computer crimes that have victimized children from infants to 16
