BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry today announced two
arrests made by his Cyber Crime Unit.
“My office is committed to using every tool we have to
protect Louisiana’s children,” Landry said. “We will continue to collaborate
with our local, state, and federal partners to bring child predators to
justice.”
Ben Gibson, 34 of Bossier City, was arrested and charged
with four counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen
(possession). The arrest was a result of a joint investigation with the
Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, United States Air Force Office of Special
Investigations, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office,
and Bossier City Marshall’s Office. Gibson was booked into the Bossier Parish
Maximum Security Jail.
Jared Kutz, 30 of Bossier City, was arrested and charged
with two counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen
(possession). The arrest was a result of a joint investigation with the
Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Caddo
Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Bossier City Marshall’s Office. Kutz was booked
into the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Jail.
