AG Jeff Landry Praises Parents Who Filed Legal Challenge to Draconian
Edicts
NEW ORLEANS, LA – Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry
is once again praising the parents who filed the lawsuit he joined against the
New Orleans Mayor over her mask and vaccine dictates. Today, the Mayor
formalized the end to the draconian edicts – ending what the Attorney General
has previously called politics at its worst.
“Parents and guardians – not government bureaucrats –
should make medical decisions for their children. And thanks to the legal
challenge by families who had enough of the madness in the Crescent City, today
is finally the end to the attacks on personal freedom in New Orleans. I again
applaud the parents in the case and look forward to continue fighting with them
to ensure the government at any level does not force medical procedures on
citizens.”
