Just as our office in criminal matters does not convict people based on accusations, we discipline based on the evidence.

AG Jeff Landry: The Legislature even unanimously passed a law expressly reaffirming that the home is not school property and discipline policies cannot treat it the same. The Board's dogged insistence upon continuing to do so is not only senseless and wrong, but it is also a waste of taxpayer dollars.

AG Jeff Landry: This is a great start in holding accountable those who have stoked the fire of the opioid crisis. My office and I will continue working to treat the addicted, relieve their families, and protect the public from this horrific epidemic.

AG Jeff Landry: Every American has a God-given, fundamental right to self-defense; whether a person is inside or outside his home has no bearing on that right. New York’s restrictive policies decrease public safety and violate the Second Amendment.

AG Jeff Landry: Access should never be able to supersede safety. I will continue to defend laws that ensure the health and safety of women and girls from abortion providers in Louisiana who do not comply with the laws and regulations of our State.

AG Jeff Landry: Anything other than a one-for-one vote distorts our election process. Those who wish to distort an election in this matter are breaking the law and betraying their fellow citizens. It is even more disheartening when the perpetrator is an elected official.
