Two Arrested in Baton Rouge for Internet Crimes Against Children

BATON ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry today announced the arrests of two Baton Rouge men on over 400 counts of child pornography.

“My office is committed to making our communities safer and arresting child predators,” said General Landry. “We will not sit idly by and allow our State’s children to be taken advantage of.”  

Rawkwon Reed, 23 of Baton Rouge
, was arrested on 200 counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under the age of 13) and 100 counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (over 13, but still minor). He was arrested following a joint investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security investigations (HSI), and the East Baton Rouge (EBR) Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Devante Robertson, 20 of Baton Rouge
, was arrested on 114 counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under the age of 13). He was arrested following a joint investigation by the LBI Cyber Crime Unit, HSI, the Louisiana State Police, the EBR Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Both men were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail.
